IOLINK SENSOR - CARLOGAVAZZI
When the IO-Link sensor is connected to an IO-Link port, the IO-Link master sends a wake-up request to the sensor, which automatically switches to IO-Link mode, and a point-to-point bidirectional communication automatically starts between the master and the sensor.
Furthermore, IO-Link sensors can also be configured to act as regular NPN and PNP sensors - an ideal product for service technicians. Carlo Gavazzi offers IO-Link in our Inductive, Capacitive and Photoelectric Sensors.
Inductive IO-Link sensors are available in M4 to M30 sizes and feature adjustable sensing distance and hysteresis, time delay, RPM monitoring, counting and a temperature alarm. In addition, it can be set up for single point, two point or window mode operation.
Capacitive IO-Link sensors are available in M18 and M30 sizes and feature adjustable sensing distance and hysteresis, time delay, low and high temperature alarm. In addition, it can be set up for single point, two point or window mode operation. Our IO-Link Photoelectric Sensors family consists of our LD30 series which features background suppression with time of flight measurement.
All IO-Link enabled sensors (both Carlo Gavazzi and non-Carlo Gavazzi) can be configured via our SCTL55 hand-held programmer. With the SCTL55 you can configure all of the sensor's parameters without the need for a PC. Furthermore, you can download the IODD files through its built-in Wi-Fi.
